YOW Surfskates are the best way to improve your surfing on land, also they are a lot of fun.
The new Arica 33” has been re-designed based on all our riders’ and customers’ feedback. Thanks to its wide outline, new high concave construction and rockers in the nose and tail, the Arica 33” has become one of the preferred boards for our ambassadors. Its outstanding performance in complex situations makes it the best option for performing airs. Its short wheel base (17”) allows you to make deeper and sharper turns. Mounted with the Meraki (S5) system and 66x51mm 80A (medium) Ura wheels for maximum precision.
The Snappers 32.5” is the most technical board we’ve ever made, and one of the go-to boards for all our riders. It features one of the deepest concaves in the market, which – alongside the wide nose and tail shape – will keep your feet glued to the board at all times. Its short wheelbase (17”) allows you to make deeper and sharper turns. Mounted with the Meraki (S5) system and 66x51mm 80A (medium) Ura wheels for maximum precision.
After a few emails back and forth during the creative process with Chris, we all agreed on the necessity of creating a new surfskate shape inspired by the old school skateboards we love , but with updated specs that make it even more functional when mounted with a surfskate system. Thus the Skalle 34” was born, a high-performance surfskate board made specially for bowls and ramps.
Molded with rockers in the nose and tail and a high concave, which will help you take your surfskating to the next level while keeping your feet glued to the board. It is also designed with a short wheel base (17”) for higher reactivity and 66x51mm 80A (medium) Ura wheels that will keep the board gripped to the ground at all times.
Mick has always been the clear representation of power surfing in the modern era of the sport. His rail-to-rail game is beyond the finest within the whole surf community – even now after retirement – and the verticality of his turns has always been in the mouth of anyone who was looking at him.
Now how do you translate all this in two surfskate boards? You just can’t, but you can get close to it. And that’s what we tried with this new Signature Series. With the Falcon as its main and only symbol not just for its relationship with speed, but also its cultural connotation for determination and grace – and a clear influence from the oldschool skateboards, the Fanning Falcon boards have become a new classic in our quiver.
The Fanning Falcon Driver mixes an oldschool skateboard outline with our rather classic specs in order to become one of the most pleasing boards to ride from our catalogue. Its flat nose lets us stretch the wheelbase up to 18.5”, length which, together with the deck’s generous kicktail dimensions and high concave, allow us to get a nice drive from rail to rail. The Meraki surfskate system and Ura wheels 66x51mm 80a gives you one of the surfiest feelings.
